These are the game types we have decided on for our pick in the matches: CTF - Onslaught KOTH - Pit Slayer - Guardian
If the other team picks any of those our second choices are: Oddball - Guardian Slayer - Pit
I think our best bet as of now is to challenge the bottom and work our way up. Here is the Ladder team list with their respective records.
Revelation 2-0 Not Played Animosity 2-0 Not Played Avid Gamer 1-1 Not Played Chaotic Accord 1-0 Not Played Profanity 0-0 Helter Skelter 0-0 FBK 0-0 _________________________________________________ Cereal Killers 2-1 Played and lost Orphanage 2-0 Played and lost Str8 Tardin 0-5 Played and won Dirty Old Bastards 0-2 Issued Challenge - not accepted
So as of now here's a list of tentative dates and I will update this to reflect any changes:
June 30th 10 pm EST - Chaotic Accord One of their players cannot start any later than 10 p.m.
We have challenged Chaotic Accord, Avid Gamer, and Animosity.

I agree with the schedule and for getting some practice in. I wouldn't mind hooking up with another team to do some custom MLG games.

Looks like a good schedule to me. Based on my reading through the weezin geezers stuff, they basically pounded through Str8 Tardin just because they were better. So, it may be a match like us against Phoenix and those guys.

We will have to look into any differences based on MLG settings. I think this will also make it much easier on us for our setups as far as ruling out AR's but we will have to factor in objectives.

Please take the time to go here and leave a comment for The Orphanage. I almost forgot to go check to see if they had written anything. I extended an offer to their team to scrim, I think it would be great practice. As I said in the thread and in the pm to them I think the score doesn't show how hard fought each game was. I think they are the perfect level for us to get really beneficial practices out of them. Each game was a fight, tooth and nail all the way.

Here's what puzzled posted about our games in the Wheezin Geezers area:
Every game was close and competetive... their were some mild windows of lag when some of us were struggling to get the kills but they were short lived and Kev's term of "grind" is exactly how we won those games. They took our full concentrated effort and much labor to grind out the victories.
I honestly think those guys have definite opening set-ups and roles as the games begin so they gain early control over us and it isn't until we break through their set-ups and start really pressing them into playing more haphazard that we get the edge on them.
We're very good at the haphazard, fly by the seat of our pants, living in the moment and constant improvising gameplay. Which puts us at a major disadvantage against the teams that play constantly MLG together and have strong set-ups and who stay coordinated through the game. Lesser teams can't handle the press and they resort to our style of game.
I noticed that we gave up top spots on Onslaught A/B/Center early and didn't ensure that we were holding down the high grounds.
Guardian was a good game... they also racked up some time while at green somehow. I'd really like to play this game/map more. We need to get some solid setups for snipe, blue room, gold and possibly even green,
I frankly am never comfortable on Narrows, ctf or otherwise. I need to work on my nade placement on that map... I'm just getting down the callouts so that's better.

Very interesting post. I was shocked on some of puzzled comments. The Onslaught comment about staying high was the way I felt about their team. We did have a good break out on Narrows but lost momentum. We already know we have trouble on this though. Guardian was nice. I liked the comment that he couldn't see how we got time in green. I watched from Hops saved game and saw at least twice where sent the whole team up snipe lift and broke their set-up. Moving in as a team sure helped.
Also, after watching Hops games I was shocked as to how many jumps he missed and noticed he is very good at across the map firing. He out BR'd the heck out of me last night and I was couldn't seem to get the edge.
Lastly, I don't think I was upset last night but could hear Malinko and LM say I was pissed. I would say that it was overstated. Not as controled but not mad. I was pretty darn tired and shouldn't have played but still had fun. Working on getting on tonight.
